CIVIL/SITE DESIGN

• Preliminary subdivision design in northern Greenville County, including roadway and intersection layout and analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic analysis for storm water detention, and bridge overpass/underpass design.

• Feasibility evaluation of a new raw water supply dam and reservoir for an existing industry in SC.

• Detailed design of big-box retail shopping center sites in SC & NC, from concept through construction documents, including layout, grading & drainage, utilities, storm water management, sediment & erosion control, and permitting.

• Capabilities in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Hydroflow storm water modeling.

ROADWAY & BRIDGES

• Office of Transportation Planning and Environmental Services - New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA): Manager of Project Scoping, responsible for identifying and documenting preliminary project issues including environmental, traffic design, right-of-way, cost, schedule, consultants, and other stakeholder issues.

• Grand Island Bridges Project – NYSTA: Project Manager, responsible for outside design contracts, partnering, and plan review of 4-bridge project.

• Tappan Zee Bridge Project - NYSTA: Project Engineer/Deputy Team Leader, responsible for technical oversight and management of environmental impact study, outside study and design contracts, public and media coordination and liaison of 30-mile I-287 corridor and 3-mile long Tappan Zee Bridge.

• Bridge Maintenance Bureau - NYSTA: Civil Engineer, responsible for bridge vulnerability assessments and inspections and bridge re-construction and replacement projects.

• Bureau of Structural Design - NYSTA: Civil Engineer, responsible for detailed structural design of multiple replacement and rehabilitated bridges.
